About Me

I have had a  robust career spanning various roles, currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Medical Officer at Healthy Oregon, a non-profit based here in Tigard, while teaching as faculty in the departments of Family Medicine as well as Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology at OHSU.  Previously, I was the Associate Chief Health Information Officer here at OHSU, and during my time in the United States Air Force was honored to be our group's Chief Medical Information Officer embedded in a variety of policy making groups, where I honed my leadership and problem-solving abilities. My work has focused on enhancing community health, bridging gaps in healthcare access, and implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges. I have been deeply involved in efforts to improve health outcomes for underrepresented communities and have led numerous initiatives to reduce health disparities.

My experience in both civilian and military settings has equipped me with a unique perspective on organizational management, strategic planning, and community engagement.  Even now, while here in Tigard, I've had the opportunity to be a board member of the Tigard Breakfast Rotary Club, and actively volunteer at our children's elementary school.  â€‹

I do not seek a career in politics, and as a non-partisan candidate, I believe it is every citizen's responsibility to contribute to their community. I am running for Tigard City Council because I am passionate about our city's future and am committed to making it a better place to live for everyone. My goal as a city council member would be to leverage my education, leadership experience, and dedication to public service to address the needs and concerns of our community. I will prioritize transparency, collaboration, and innovation in our local government, and I am eager to work with fellow council members, community organizations, and fellow Tigard residents to create policies that promote health, safety, and prosperity in our comminity.

Together, we can build a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Tigard.
